Confidential One-on-One Counseling
We have counselors available to talk with you and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Having a baby is an exciting new adventure, but an unplanned pregnancy can seem overwhelming. We are here to talk with you and help you understand what to expect. You can visit our office in Cornelia during office hours, or talk with a counselor on the phone anytime, 24/7. We welcome fathers and couples as well as mothers. You are not alone; we are here for you!
Free Pregnancy Testing
If you are unsure whether or not you are pregnant, we can perform a pregnancy test to find out. This test is confidential and free, and is an accepted “proof of pregnancy.”
Free Ultrasound
We provide free ultrasound screenings that can help determine your baby’s due date and give you a chance to see your baby before he or she arrives. These screenings are performed on-site; talk to a counselor to set up your ultrasound appointment.
Educational Resources
We provide many different resources to help you understand what to expect during your pregnancy and beyond, from learning about your baby’s development to classes on parenting and how to care for your baby. We can also provide material on relationships and other aspects of raising a child.
Practical Care for Mothers and Babies
We are here to help you from the very beginning. We can provide maternity items and resources donated by supporters from our community. In addition, every mother receives a gift bag for her newborn containing items to meet her baby’s needs from infancy to 2T.
Adoption Services
Adoption is the loving option! We can refer our clients to several adoption agencies and provide plenty of information on adoption services.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Habersham Life is a non-profit Christian ministry. Counseling is confidential, and we do not share your private information outside of our office. We are not a medical clinic; our services are free and do not require insurance coverage.
